Dr. Tounian and everyone at Sparr Heights Dental was great! The entire staff was friendly, welcoming, and professional from start to finish. What I appreciated most was their honesty. They didn't try to upsell treatment. Both Dr. Tounian and Helen my hygienist let me know that a molar I was concerned about didn't need any work just yet and could simply be monitored. I highly recommend them!

After years of putting off a checkup, I'm so glad I chose to visit Dr. Tounian. He was thorough, straightforward, and took the time to explain everything without making me feel pressured. His assistant was also compassionate and gentle. I was comfortable throughout the entire visit and I would highly recommend them.

Dr. Tounian and his staff are AMAZING 🙂 (which is truly an understatement of how competent and kind everyone is). So Dr. Tounian has been my dentist for years, so when he changed locations, I followed (and so did the rest of my clan). He has a fast and steady; and something I truly I admire about him is that he acknowledges how important his staff. Great dentist, great staff, great office….Also if you’re a sports or comic fanatic - there is a ton of art/memorabilia here (like a life size Darth Vader - thank me later for spilling the sauce here).

Sparr Heights Dental is my new go to dental office. Dr Tounian, Dr Anderson, Cassandra, and staff are amazing. I use to go to a dental office in Gardena where Dr Tounian use to work out, fast forward a few years now and I’m back with Dr T. At the end of the day, the loyalty is what brought my son and I back. Dr Tounian is honest, he’s friendly, he’s personable, and knowledgeable. All you want in a dentist. He treats his customers/patients like family. He’s remove my teeth before (he doesn’t do that anymore), so I trust the Sparr Heights Dental group with my dental needs. Dr Pezeshkian is also their onsite oral surgeon if you need your teeth removed! The location is perfect, tons of parking, street parking and in a nice part of northern Glendale by Montrose. Insurance accepted. The facility is clean, the ladies at the front desk are super helpful. Glad to be a new patient, glad to be back with Dr Tounian again.

Dr Tounian is a gentleman. He is very attentive and he is a wonderful and gentle dentist. Highly recommend him and the entire team.

I honestly didn’t think my old front filling could ever look this good again. Dr. Tounian is incredibly detail-oriented and truly takes pride in his work — my smile looks so natural and I’m so happy with the result. Also have to mention Cassandra, who was amazing throughout the whole visit and somehow even gave mini massages in between � . Such a great experience overall. Definitely coming back.

I had an old crown that came off with some decay underneath and my previous dentist wanted me to have a root canal done and then place a new crown. I believed that such an invasive procedure might not be necessary so I went to see Dr. Tounian for a second opinion. Upon arrival, I was so impressed with the staff and the whole atmosphere of the office. Dr. Tounian was so very friendly and informative and he felt confident that he could rescue and fix my tooth without a root canal. I was so happy that I could schedule the procedure for the next day. During the procedure every step is explained and done so carefully and gently. Cassandra, Dr. Tounian’s assistant, is so very friendly, calming, and positive. One can tell that she has a lot of experience and a great passion for what she does; what an awesome team they make! They really went above and beyond to provide an excellent service! This will be my new dental office and I will send my family over as well!!

After a lot of research, I went to see Dr. Tounian at Sparr Heights Dental for a cleaning and also started the process of getting an implant for a tooth I lost after a failed root canal at a different office. I’d had a few bad experiences with previous dentists, so I was a little nervous going in. He was kind, thorough, and easy to talk to - I didn’t feel lectured or judged at all for my lapse in taking care of my dental health. He was clear about what I actually needed and didn’t recommend or do anything unnecessary, even though he easily could have. I really appreciated that. During my visits, they talked me through what they were doing, which helped me feel more at ease. Dr. Armen Pezeshkian is doing the implant work and is meticulous and top-tier. The process has been smooth so far. They’re transparent about cost and very reasonable considering the length of the process and quality of the work. The office has a nice, original mid-century modern feel and the staff is lovely. I have a background in fine arts, and the artwork on the walls stands out - there’s even a life-size Darth Vader. My teenager now sees Dr. Tounian and thinks the office is a “vibe” - so there’s that. Would definitely recommend.
